Almost a month ago, Emilia cut two bottom teeth in the same day. It was a relief for all of us because her inconsolable crying and whimpering were getting tough to handle. Poor girl! Until now I couldn't get a good picture of them, but they've raised up enough to actually look like teeth, not tiny little white nubs.
I don't know if you can see them, but the two glimmers of white above my finger are her new teeth.
Her tongue has gone on new adventures, rubbing the bottom of her gums, feeling the new sharp sensation in her mouth. (And "sharp" really does mean sharp! I made the mistake of letting her chew on my finger soon after, and she nearly punctured it!) Soon Cheerios, Gold Fish, and little Gerber puffs will make their way into our cabinets.
