Curls!

"I did it!" Emilia enjoys this phrase very much when she has accomplished something. This time I accomplished something (with her help). Curls! Emilia has stick-straight hair, so the only way I can have blonde ringlets is to expose her to sponge rollers. I was impressed the curls lasted all day.

I have (not-so) fond memories of Mom making me sit still on Saturday night after my bath to curl my hair in the pink rollers. I'm convinced it's a right-of-passage to sleep on some hair apparatus as a kid. Emilia began her journey two months shy of two! I was surprised she left them in all night!! The result was so cute.
