Under and Over

Emilia decided that normal use of furniture is not okay. Most recently she has been spotted on the table and under her dresser. Sadly, I do not have photos of these events. However, I can paint you a little picture.

Tonight, as I was putting away clothes in her closet, Emilia managed to get away from me (it's not so hard these days because she's so fast). After a minute, I realized all was a little too quiet. This, of course, heightens my interest as to her whereabouts. Quiet usually equals trouble. I could hear her whimpering after a few moments of silence, but still couldn't see her. I looked in the closet. Nothing. I looked behind the bedroom door. Nothing. Her voice sounds like it's coming from behind the dresser, but that couldn't be because it is flush against the wall. Kneeling down, face to the floor, I see my daughter on all fours trying to crawl out from under the heaviest piece of equipment in her room! (I am very thankful it is sturdy and put together well.) Her head knocks against the edge, and she can't figure out how to maneuver herself out. Thus, crying ensues. No worries - after a few moments of laughter and astonishment from her mother and father, we get our little angel. Apparently, there are no limits to where she can fit!
