Sitting Up

Our little gem can finally sit up on her own! It happened while we were on the spring break trip visiting Papa and Grandma Carolyn. Right there, on Grandma Carolyn's living room floor, I put down Emilia to see what she could do. Surely she'll just fall forward like she normally does and get stuck... but not this time. She fell slightly forward to look at the carpet and then slowly lifted her torso to a sitting position! She did it!! I did not (sadly) get a picture of that specific event, but I did get a few pictures several minutes later while we were changing for bed. I wanted to see if she could do it again, and she did! It's official, I have a "sitter."
