Zoo!

Emilia and I haven't been to the zoo since the Fall. Emilia had just been walking a little over a month, still a little shaky on her feet. She was still on a two nap schedule, and distinctly wearing 12 month clothes that were a little big on her. In addition, she was just getting acquainted with animals, and wasn't sure what to think.
Obviously, she has grown so much since then! She's taller, more steady on her feet, and can tell me the names of many different animals, and some of their sounds. Right now, zebras and alligators are her favorite to identify, so you could imagine my excitement when we were going to the zoo with zebras AND alligators! I was sure she would love it!

She didn't prove me wrong (too much). She loved going to the zoo, being outside, and seeing all the animals. But the meerkats stole her attention...who needs to see zebras when you can see a meerkat?? We're definitely going back sometime soon.
