Happy 2012!

The new year commenced with friends and family helping it along. It was the first year I didn't watch the ball drop in Times Square, so the excitement of turning the calendar one year older was a little lost. And yet, I feel prepared to start the new year with personal goals and a strong sense of togetherness with our family. The biggest goal is to find our house, a home where Emilia can run and play more freely. I love entertaining (to Philip's chagrin in our tiny condo), so a house would mean more space to invite guests. It is definitely the next step in our lives, and hopefully 2012 will be the backdrop for the move. Only prayer, determination, and time will tell.
