New Year's Day

Unfortunately, Philip wasn't feeling too well (seems to be a trend among us on New Year's Eve/Day...one year we'll be able to do something fun), but Emilia and I went to Aunt Teresa's - affectionately known as Grand T - for a meal of turnip greens and black eyed peas. Yes, good luck and blessings are in our future because we ate a lot!

We had loads of fun showing Grand T and family what toddlers love to pick up and eat! ha! Emilia definitely keeps us on our toes at home, so when we go to other places we're highly alerted to the grown-up things she finds (i.e. money, instruments, electronics, breakable objects, etc.). She did, however, enjoy her gigantic stuffed dinosaur Christmas present. She loves sitting, "riding," and pushing it around.

Emilia loves her Grand T
Kissing Amanda's new baby. She loves her babydolls.
Eating (of course)!
This girl loves to eat and seems to be hungry all the time.

Everyday our little girl shows us something new she can do. I'm excited to see how much she'll learn this year.
