Santa - "at the big building with all the stores"

When we told Emilia that we were going to see Santa, she said "but we already saw him with all the lights in the North Pole." Philip and I tried to explain that he can go to different places to see different people. He has helpers, etc, etc. She became more excited when we got to the mall and stood in line. I was nervous for many reasons. 1:  we (stupidly) braved the middle of nap time to stand in line, and 2: because the last two years, Santa is only exciting from a distance. Get close and watch out for a fountain of tears and blood-curdling screams. This year, Emilia made us very proud. She walked up timidly, sat in his lap, and gave us a big Emilia smile. Then she told him what she wanted: a Cinderella gown! And wouldn't you know, on Christmas morning, he delivered!! Since this time, this Santa is referred to as the "one at the big building with all the stores." Yep, can't pull anything over on this girl!

For some reason, this picture doesn't want to rotate correctly.

Waiting in line for Santa!!
