Christmas Cookies for Santa
Growing up, Christmas cookies were always a big deal. I loved helping my mom make them - cutting out the shapes and decorating them with sprinkles and candy. I loved smelling them baking, and loved eating them even more! As the family grows, that tradition is more and more fun. Last year, all the cousins were together and we made cookies for the big guy. However, the girls were really too young to figure out what was going on. This year, Emilia was all kinds of excited to get in the kitchen and make Santa his cookies. We baked them on the 23rd and decorated them on the 24th. With all the festivities, it was much easier to split it up into a two day activity (which worked out really well for us). We even left some celery for the reindeer!
