Christmas Visits

Philip and I took the first few days of no work to travel to Charlotte to visit family and friends. Everyone loved seeing how much Emilia has grown - turning from baby to toddler before our eyes! Because we won't be with my parents Christmas day, we had our gift giving time last night. Emilia got her special Christmas pajamas early, and thoroughly enjoyed opening her gifts, listening to Christmas music, and watching Christmas movies.

Ornaments are for the tree?? Nah...

This morning, we took our time getting ready to leave. Mamaw loves feeding Emilia, and it's some of Emilia's favorite times, too!

Today, on the way home, we stopped by my grandparents to say hello and open gifts. They got some really cute clothes for her. Papa got a kick out of her wanting to carry them around everywhere. Her jean jacket was the favorite item (please note it in her hand while sitting with both Grandma Carolyn and Papa)!

On the way home, Emilia was getting a little tired of her seat. She looked at some books, and I snapped some pictures to keep her occupied.

The car was very dark.
The flash was very bright...
hence the smile with closed eyes!
